Sellers Note: In the spring of 1918, a young Vance and Jane Morgan Smith purchased three homes and 100 acres of the Caldwell farm, laying the foundation for their dairy operation. Over the next 108 years, the property grew to 165 acres as it passed through three generations of the Smith family – from Vance to Art, and then to Byran. Now, in 2026, the time has come for the Smiths to pass the stewardship of this land to a new generation of caretakers.
